This has been a long project and a very interesting one. It is somehow a very important commission work, because it is our daughter’s very first desk!

Could it be possible that the best projects come from ideas that circle in our head for some time? We had been planning this desk for a very long time, and finally decided to give it a try.

It is the first time we experimented with mahogany wood, that we used in combination with poplar plywood, the idea was to have a balanced combination of modern and classic looks.

This project was also an opportunity of reclaiming and restoting the legs of an old 70ies style dining table we had laying around.

We are very pleased with the result, both functionally and aesthetically.
